ETCH Process Support Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Icheon-Gwango, South Korea; on-site customer support is required. Travel: 25% of the time. Relocation is not eligible.

What you will do

• Provide customer support through on-site installations, system diagnosis, servicing, and repair of complex semiconductor equipment.
• Work with customers and R&D teams to develop advanced processes for semiconductor chip manufacturing.
• Design hypothesis experiments and design-of-experiments studies, analyze data statistically, and prepare technical reports.
• Troubleshoot complex process and equipment problems, perform root cause analyses, and resolve customer product issues.
• Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders to achieve technical goals and build trusted relationships.
• Apply knowledge of company processes and customer requirements to evaluate problems and develop solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in the semiconductor fab or equipment industry.
• English communication proficiency required.
• Ability to support on-site installations, equipment diagnosis, servicing, and repair.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or PhD in a related field.
