CMC Operational Planning & Capacity Manager

What you will do

• Customize, plan, and track CMC activities across R&D, Manufacture & Supply, and post-approval product lifecycle management.
• Maintain accurate CMC project plans, timelines, logic, and resource workloads in Planisware.
• Prepare workload and capacity analyses, reporting, and optimization scenarios for CMC project teams and functional managers.
• Recommend timeline, resource, site-allocation, and outsourcing options when bottlenecks arise.
• Analyze deliverable timelines and critical-path activities to support CMC risk management.
• Integrate CMC dependencies with Translational Medicine, Clinical Sciences, Regulatory Affairs, and global project planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD, or MBA in a scientific, technical, or business-related field.
• 5+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, 3+ years with a master’s or MBA, or 2+ years with a PhD in project planning and management and/or CMC operational or laboratory activities.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or another regulated industry.
• Ability to work with CMC development in R&D and Manufacture & Supply, including clinical and commercial supplies, regulatory, and quality functions.

Nice to have

• Experience with biologics or gene medicine CMC operations.
• Familiarity with AAV or LNP platforms.
• Experience with Planisware or equivalent planning and project management tools.
• PMP or CAPM certification.
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, advanced Excel, finance, or budget management.
