Functional Consultant SAP S/4HANA – Finance (FI-GL, AP & Tax)

Location: Paris La Défense, France; in-person collaboration is prioritized.

What you will do

• Act as the SAP FI subject matter expert for General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Tax.
• Lead finance business process design and Business Process Reengineering workshops.
• Gather, analyze, and document Finance and Tax business requirements.
• Configure SAP S/4HANA Finance, including chart of accounts, parallel ledgers, invoice processing, payment runs, VAT/GST, withholding tax, and electronic tax reporting.
• Support integration with MM, SD, CO, EPPM, Treasury, Procurement, Sales, and external tax engines where applicable.
• Prepare and execute testing, support data migration design, cutover, go-live, training, documentation, and knowledge transfer.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Functional Consultant in SAP FI, including GL, AP, and Tax.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance; Greenfield implementation experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS/GAAP, VAT, withholding tax, and electronic tax reporting.
• Experience integrating Finance with MM, SD, and CO, plus familiarity with Agile methodologies and SAP Activate.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• French citizenship and fluent French and English are required.
