Federal Staff Reporting Analyst

What you will do

• Create and review federal reporting artifacts, including WARs, SITREPs, after-action reports, executive summaries, and briefings.
• Write clear and accurate content aligned with federal and military reporting standards.
• Evaluate submissions for clarity, accuracy, compliance, formatting, and reporting conventions.
• Develop reference responses and source materials for federal reporting scenarios.
• Create grading rubrics and evaluation criteria for AI-generated reports.
• Provide expert feedback on task design and participate in review cycles to maintain quality and consistency.

Requirements

• 3+ years of federal reporting or staff writing experience, preferably with the U.S. Department of Defense.
• Experience preparing federal or military reports such as WARs, MARs, SITREPs, after-action reports, and executive summaries.
• Knowledge of military writing, federal documentation standards, Department of Defense procedures, and compliance practices.
• Experience developing reporting methodologies, evaluation criteria, grading rubrics, or training materials.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• U.S.-based experience handling confidential information in federal or military environments is required.

Nice to have

• Background with one or more U.S. military branches.
• Prior experience with AI evaluation projects.
