Solutions Architect (Video Conference)

Location: Cyberjaya, Malaysia; hybrid work with regular office attendance required

What you will do

• Own global video conferencing and collaboration-room architecture, standards, room typologies, bills of material, device classes, and configuration baselines.
• Architect and govern the FY27 lifecycle refresh program across more than 400 video conferencing units, aligned with the allocated $1.2M budget.
• Prioritize investments using lifecycle status, room usage, telemetry, and Grow/Maintain/Retire site strategies.
• Drive remediation and decommissioning of end-of-life and restricted-state devices while reducing user impact and operational risk.
• Define standards for emergency replacements, room changes, device failures, monitoring, and proactive quality management.
• Coordinate network and SD-WAN readiness, Facilities engagement, vendor evaluations, Webex transitions, and onboarding automation.

Requirements

• 10–15+ years of progressive experience in enterprise video conferencing, AV, or collaboration-space architecture.
• Experience with global standardization, lifecycle transitions, refresh programs, and end-of-life remediation across large video conferencing estates.
• Proven ability to use telemetry and usage insights to prioritize technology investments.
• Strong cross-functional delivery leadership across Workplace/Facilities, Network, and UC Engineering/Operations.
• Strong program governance and operational discipline.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement with regular office attendance in Cyberjaya.
