Principal Solution Architect (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Act as the primary regional technical advisor for enterprise and strategic accounts across Southeast Asia.
• Lead customer-facing architecture discussions, whiteboard sessions, executive presentations, technical deep dives, and complex deal strategy.
• Design secure cloud-native and hybrid architectures across AWS, Azure, GCP, endpoint, network, email, and identity environments.
• Lead cloud and security Proofs of Concept with measurable technical and business outcomes.
• Apply Zero Trust, identity, segmentation, posture management, XDR, CNAPP, container security, and DevSecOps practices.
• Collaborate with sales, channel, customer success, product, engineering, cloud providers, MSSPs, GSIs, and regional partners.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in solutions architecture, pre-sales engineering, security consulting, or cloud architecture.
• Strong cybersecurity background, including cloud security, endpoint, network security, SOC/XDR, or hybrid security.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP and designing secure enterprise or mid-market architectures.
• Strong executive engagement, presentation, storytelling, and whiteboarding skills.
• Willingness to travel within Southeast Asia.
• Preferred certifications include AWS, Azure, GCP, CISSP, CCSP, Kubernetes, DevSecOps, or cloud security certifications.

Nice to have

• Experience with hirify.global or competing security vendors.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust, CNAPP, CSPM, CWPP, XDR, SIEM, and related frameworks.
• Experience with MSSPs, GSIs, cloud partners, regulated industries, executive workshops, or security maturity assessments.
• Hands-on scripting or automation with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with SOC 2, NIST, ISO 27001, PCI, or HIPAA.
