TL;DR
Application Solution Architect-Associate Principal - Architecture (Azure) (Azure cloud migration): Designing target architectures and leading complex on-premises infrastructure migrations to Azure with an accent on Azure Migrate, landing zones, networking, storage, identity, and Azure SQL. Focus on building high-level and low-level designs, troubleshooting Azure environments, preparing bills of materials and licensing details, and executing Terraform-based infrastructure automation.
Location: Malaysia Citizen or PR candidate with relevant security clearance

What you will do
- Assess on-premises and public-cloud infrastructure using Azure Migrate.
- Drive solution architecture and cloud migration activities for large, complex environments.
- Design Azure target architectures, landing zones, infrastructure diagrams, and high-level and low-level designs.
- Plan and execute migrations of on-premises workloads to Azure.
- Prepare bills of materials, pricing, licensing, and value-for-money details for proposed solutions.
- Collaborate with customer stakeholders, internal teams, and project managers to understand requirements and deliver migration solutions.
Requirements
- 13 years of IT experience, including at least 5 years working with Azure infrastructure, Azure Migrate, Azure networking, Azure SQL, Azure IaaS/PaaS, Azure Storage, Key Vault, IAM, and Azure DevOps.
- Experience troubleshooting Azure Windows environments, including processor, networking, cluster, I/O, and memory issues.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform scripting, execution, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of PowerShell, Azure DevOps pipelines, Puppet, data storage, business continuity and disaster recovery, identity governance, and monitoring solutions.
- Experience working across banking, healthcare, or insurance domains.
- Must be a Malaysia citizen or permanent resident and hold relevant security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in computer applications, computer science, engineering, technology, or an equivalent qualification.
Nice to have
- Experience with RiverMeadow.
- AZ-305 or AZ-104 certification.
