What you will do

• Design small mechanisms, test fixtures, complete machines, and electromechanical systems.
• Manage concurrent engineering projects and tasks from customer research through design, build, testing, reporting, and optimization.
• Develop mechanical concepts and assemblies that meet design specifications, cost targets, manufacturability requirements, and project schedules.
• Set up and conduct design verification tests, including data acquisition, analysis, and documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers, marketing, manufacturing, service teams, vendors, and suppliers.
• Contribute to product development and stage-gate deliverables from concept through launch.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 3–6 years of experience designing and developing electromechanical products.
• Experience with machine elements, structural components, kinematics, mechanisms, electromechanical packaging, and basic mechanical assemblies.
• Proficiency with CAD and FEA software such as SolidWorks, along with GD&T, BOMs, mechanical drawings, and ECOs.
• Knowledge of machining, sheet metal, casting, injection molding, 3D printing, finishing, material selection, fastening, and assembly processes.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and collaborative skills, with basic understanding of electrical, firmware, and software disciplines.
