Process Development Associate Scientist (Biotechnology)

What you will do

• Develop cell culture and purification manufacturing processes for recombinant proteins.
• Execute mammalian cell culture experiments at different scales using shake flasks and bioreactors.
• Conduct filtration and chromatography purification experiments at bench and pilot scale.
• Evaluate process robustness through process characterization, facility-fit studies, and raw material evaluations.
• Document experimental data, analyze results, and present findings to the team.
• Author technical reports, support regulatory filings, and contribute to technology development projects.

Requirements

• Master’s degree, or a bachelor’s degree with 2 years of Process Development experience.
• Alternatively, an associate’s degree with 4 years of Process Development experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 6 years of Process Development experience.
• Relevant hands-on laboratory experience in cell culture or protein purification.
• Strong oral and written communication, organization, critical-thinking, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, collaborative team environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Design of Experiments and statistical analysis.
