Operations Team Lead (Robotics)

Location: Must be based in San Francisco, CA (On-site)

What you will do

• Provide daily on-site leadership to drive robot data collection and ensure production continuity.
• Supervise, train, and motivate a team of shift-based operators.
• Own factory throughput and data quality, identifying and correcting deviations from standard work.
• Act as the primary point of contact between research, hardware, software, and floor operations teams.
• Enforce safety protocols and PPE compliance while proactively identifying process bottlenecks.

Requirements

• Must be able to work on-site in San Francisco.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM, Operations, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in tech operations, manufacturing, or fast-paced physical environments.
• 2+ years of experience managing and scheduling hourly, shift-based workers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to track KPIs to inform workflow adjustments.
• Excellent communication skills for translating operational gaps into technical feedback.

Nice to have

• Experience in robotics, autonomous vehicles, or frontier hardware-AI integration sectors.
