Co-Op (Fall Term)

EMD, a Curtiss-Wright business unit, designs, manufactures, tests, and supports critical-function equipment and power electronics for the United States Navy and the commercial nuclear industry.

What you will do

• Support mechanical engineering work across defense, commercial nuclear, analytical, stress and thermal, and manufacturing engineering departments.
• Contribute to facilities electrical engineering, product design, engineering processes, and resources.
• Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives, including Kaizen and 5S.
• Develop project schedules and provide project control support.
• Assist with logistics, inventory control, purchasing, contracts administration, accounting, supply chain data analysis, or welding engineering.

Requirements

• Current intern or co-op student available for the fall semester.
• Interest or academic focus in engineering, supply chain, logistics, business, IT, accounting, or a related discipline.
• Work at the Cheswick, Pennsylvania location is required for the role.
• The position may involve access to export-controlled information and additional security screening.
