What you will do

• Support process optimization for workflows, production layouts, and material handling systems.
• Develop and implement visual management tools to improve organization and communication.
• Assist in creating systems for kit drop-off areas, WIP lanes, Kanban processes, and NCR isolation zones.
• Collaborate with operations, production, and supply chain teams to align project goals.
• Analyze operational data to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Participate in hands-on activities to implement continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in a degree program in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Must be able to work on-site in Cincinnati, OH for the 3-4 month term.
• Must provide proof of US Citizenship and attest to no dual citizenship to meet NOFORN requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with CAD or similar design tools.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, visual management, and process improvement principles.
