Data Analyst - MARVEL Strike Force

What you will do

• Use AI-enabled tools, SQL, and Python to accelerate data exploration, analysis, documentation, quality assurance, and insight generation while validating accuracy and protecting sensitive data.
• Partner with product, design, economy, live operations, marketing, and leadership teams to improve player engagement, retention, monetization, and long-term game health.
• Own recurring business-health reporting, including KPI reviews, trend analysis, variance explanations, and executive-ready recommendations.
• Analyze player behavior across onboarding, progression, events, offers, combat modes, and other game systems to identify risks, opportunities, and player friction.
• Design and validate analytics tracking for new features, live events, player offers, and experiments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, physics, or another quantitative discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in data analytics, product analytics, business analytics, financial analysis, data science, or a similar quantitative role.
• At least 2 years of experience using SQL and Python, including complex queries across multiple data sources.
• At least 2 years of experience creating reports with Tableau, Looker, or a similar reporting system.
• Experience with experimentation, including A/B test design, metric selection, statistical significance, guardrail metrics, and post-test interpretation.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to turn detailed analysis into actionable recommendations in a fast-moving live-service environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in mobile gaming, especially RPG, hero collector, strategy, or squad-based combat games.
• Experience analyzing onboarding, funnels, retention, engagement, progression, monetization, economy health, offers, events, or churn.
• Experience with dbt, Snowflake, BigQuery, Git, notebook-based analysis, or reusable data models.
• Advanced degree or demonstrated interest in AI-enabled analytics workflows.
