OS Administrator (Linux & Windows) – Infrastructure Operations (LATAM)

What you will do

• Administer Linux distributions, including RHEL and CentOS, and Windows Server in a large enterprise environment with 1,000+ servers.
• Troubleshoot kernel and system-level issues across Linux and Windows platforms.
• Perform operating-system-level performance tuning and optimization.
• Implement security hardening, CIS benchmark compliance, vulnerability remediation, patching, and update management.
• Support VM build and provisioning processes and participate in production incident response.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for production support.

Requirements

• Hands-on administration experience with Linux and Windows Server in a large enterprise environment.
• Experience with security hardening, compliance, vulnerability remediation, patching, and enterprise patching tools such as Tanium.
• Ability to troubleshoot system-level issues and optimize operating-system performance.
• Scripting ability in Bash and/or PowerShell.
• Experience with VMware virtualized environments, monitoring, observability, runbooks, and repeatable operational procedures.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Azure infrastructure and hybrid cloud/on-premises operations.
• Familiarity with Chef and/or Ansible for configuration management.
• Experience supporting distributed, multi-site environments with datacenters and remote or edge locations.
