• Perform Assistant Controller functions within client accounting services teams.
• Advise clients on accounting and finance best practices.
• Manage multiple clients, projects, deliverables, and deadlines.
• Prepare and analyze client financial statements and provide recommendations.
• Maintain knowledge of organizational policies, federal and state directives, and current accounting standards.
• Build professional expertise through industry events and training.

• Six years of relevant accounting and/or financial experience.
• Bachelor's degree required; relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Intacct, Great Plains, Yardi, MRI, Timberline, Sage, Foundations, Xero, or Peoplesoft.
• Experience in Massachusetts government accounting is strongly preferred.
• MUNIS experience is strongly preferred.
