Location: Gelang Patah, Johor, Malaysia. The role is open only to Malaysian students.

What you will do

• Review contract manufacturer documentation and convert it into hirify.global Malaysia SOP format.
• Verify documents against local process flows and support assigned industrial engineering activities.
• Learn and apply Lean Six Sigma tools in a manufacturing environment, including OEE, VSM, and TPM.
• Monitor data collection systems, analyze trends and large datasets, and present actionable information.
• Analyze and improve business processes to increase operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on long-term process improvement and implementation projects.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a BS or MS engineering program, preferably in the final year or a related field.
• Knowledge of manufacturing operations and an understanding of the Omnipod process.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience with data analytics tools and the ability to work with large datasets.
• Ability to work independently, stay self-motivated, and provide regular updates to a supervisor or coach.
• Must be a Malaysian student.

Nice to have

• Experience with Minitab, JMP, or advanced Excel data analysis.
• Experience with SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Fluency in English and Malay.
• Knowledge of Mandarin.
