QC Inspector/IST Operator (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

Salary: CAD 44,600–59,400 annually

Manufacturing and design operations produce rugged, high-mix, small-batch products for military applications using controlled SAP and MES processes with component traceability.

What you will do

• Inspect products and raw materials and conduct surveillance inspections in manufacturing areas.
• Prepare defect analysis reports, certificates of conformance, inspection logs, checklists, and quality control surveillance reports.
• Maintain inspection targets, quality requirements, schedules, and document retention systems.
• Set up and perform IST tests using IST-HC automated test equipment and follow established test protocols.
• Troubleshoot IST testers, coordinate supplier support, and arrange calibration and maintenance schedules.
• Identify non-conforming products, participate in MRB and IST meetings, and recommend process improvements.

Requirements

• Technical diploma in a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience inspecting military electronic products.
• Certified IPC-A-610.
• Good spoken and written communication skills.
• Good computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Microsoft Exchange.
• Ability to work onsite in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
