Manufacturing Engineer

Salary: $75,000 - $85,000

What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes to meet business objectives.
• Lead or support projects related to the introduction of new products.
• Maintain production capacity models and determine labor standards.
• Develop and maintain process descriptions and work instructions to ensure ISO certification.
• Perform quality inspections and report non-conforming parts.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives including kaizens and 5S principles.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2-4 years of progressive experience in Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001/14001 standards.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
• Ability to work in a multi-shift environment including flexible hours and weekends.
• Physical ability to stand for up to 3 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice to have

• P. Eng. designation.
• Black Belt or Lean Belt Certification.
• Experience with furniture, woodworking, or finishing processes.
