Senior Software Engineer, iOS (On-site - Acton, MA)

Location: On-site in Acton, Massachusetts, United States

Annual base salary: $128,000–$191,975, with potential incentive compensation.

hirify.global is a medical device company developing the Omnipod tubeless insulin pump platform and other wearable drug-delivery technologies for people with diabetes and other conditions.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deliver production-quality iOS applications and SDKs in Swift.
• Implement unit tests and UI tests for core functionality and user workflows.
• Collaborate in co-located Scrum teams with developers, testers, product owners, and scrum masters.
• Partner with product managers and UX designers to define and deliver new features.
• Mentor software developers and promote high-quality code, architecture, and engineering practices.
• Evaluate technologies, develop prototypes, follow design assurance procedures, and support internal and external customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
• At least 5 years of software development experience, including at least 3 years of iOS development experience.
• Strong understanding of iOS architecture patterns and design.
• Experience with application development frameworks, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and protocols, including APIs, REST, OAuth 2.0, and JSON.
• On-site work in Acton, Massachusetts is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with The Composable Architecture framework or unidirectional flow patterns.
• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform and cross-platform mobile applications.
• Experience with Bluetooth and BLE.
• Experience with FDA and HIPAA regulations.
