  • Define FPGA architecture, integrate SoCs, and design DDR4, SERDES, UART, and SPI interfaces.
  • Develop mixed-signal circuits with ADC and DAC interfaces.
  • Perform HyperLynx or equivalent power and signal integrity analysis and conduct worst case analysis across voltage and temperature conditions.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team through requirements, design, verification, design reviews, and flight qualification.
  • Support board bring-up, laboratory integration and debugging, hardware/firmware co-design, and resolution of technical issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 6+ years of hardware engineering experience with high-speed digital board design.
  • Experience with schematic capture tools such as Mentor Xpedition or Cadence.
  • Experience with FPGA architecture, SoC integration, mixed-signal design, ADC/DAC circuits, and high-speed interfaces.
  • Experience with signal integrity simulation, worst case analysis, and space or flight hardware qualification processes.
  • Demonstrated multidisciplinary engineering leadership and troubleshooting skills for complex high-speed digital hardware.

Nice to have

  • MSEE degree.
  • Experience with radiation-tolerant FPGAs, EEE-INST-002, NASA, or ESA parts selection and derating guidelines.
  • Experience with power integrity analysis, PCB layout tools, and high-speed layout rules.
  • Knowledge of thermal, mechanical, and radiation constraints for space hardware, including SEE and TID effects.
  • Familiarity with GitHub, CI/CD practices, and AI agents.

Culture & Benefits

  • Work on communication technologies serving global commercial, government, and military applications.
  • Collaborate across hardware, firmware, software, systems, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
