Senior Software Developer (Cloud)

Location: Remote in Ontario, Canada. In-person onboarding and/or identity verification may be required.

Salary: CAD 107,000–157,300 annual base salary, with potential bonuses, stock grants, and benefits.

What you will do

• Build and maintain reliable, secure, performant, and high-throughput cloud services for AEC products.
• Develop scalable infrastructure and contribute to cloud-based software design and architecture.
• Collaborate with product managers, product owners, architects, and stakeholders to deliver iterative product enhancements.
• Implement unit, regression, end-to-end, and automated testing.
• Monitor backend performance and implement optimizations for scalability, response times, and resource utilization.
• Document and present technical solutions and participate in production on-call rotations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science.
• At least 4 years of experience developing enterprise-level cloud services.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, microservices, security, authentication, authorization, and SOC 2.
• Experience with AWS services including EC2, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, and RDS.
• Strong proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or C#, and frameworks such as Spring Boot, Node.js, or .NET.
• Experience with automated testing, backend monitoring, performance optimization, and collaborative problem-solving.
