Semi-Senior IT Systems Engineer, Identity Access Management

Location: Hybrid in the Cuauhtémoc/Mexico City vicinity, Mexico, or Palermo/Buenos Aires, Argentina; 3 days per week onsite. Ability to work from the office as needed and travel to global offices for projects is required.

What you will do

• Serve as the escalation point for access and authorization across integrated IT platforms.
• Implement and integrate identity and access management platforms across cloud, data center, systems, and network infrastructure.
• Monitor security posture deviations and enforce security practices across the user community.
• Investigate access modifications and user behavior, troubleshoot systems and applications, and develop support documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering, information security, internal stakeholders, and external vendors on roadmaps and commitments.
• Build technical solutions and contribute to a high-performing IT practice.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on technical experience with server support and user profile management, including Windows Server, Active Directory, SSO, PKI, compute, virtual desktops, MDM, scripting, and API calls.
• 3+ years of experience building and maintaining cloud and SaaS external services.
• 1+ year of experience managing identity provider solutions such as Okta, Entra ID, or Ping.
• Knowledge of OSI Model Layers 3–7, including HTTP, DNS, TCP, ARP, SSL, and TLS, with troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with Python, PowerShell, VBS, or shell scripting; MDM management with JAMF or Intune; and reporting tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI, or Tableau. Written and spoken English is required.

• End-to-end project and support experience across an enterprise ecosystem.
• Experience with an ITIL-based service delivery model.
• Okta management background or relevant certifications.
• Root-cause analysis investigation experience.
