Senior Business Analyst

Location: Brazil; remote home office

What you will do

• Facilitate collaboration between Product Owners, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Map user journeys and business objectives, and elicit, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Support backlog prioritization, refinement, delivery sequencing, and value-driven planning.
• Identify client-process bottlenecks and propose continuous improvements using data and service design practices.
• Help development teams understand the purpose and business impact of each delivery.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in IT.
• Strong business and functional analysis, requirements engineering, and process improvement skills.
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum ceremonies.
• Experience writing user stories with clear acceptance criteria and managing backlogs.
• Experience with Jira or similar backlog and project management tools.
• Excellent spoken and written English, with the ability to engage stakeholders independently across onsite and offshore teams.

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of APIs, databases, or systems architecture.
• BDD/Gherkin experience.
• Agile or business analysis certifications such as CSPO, PMI-PBA, or CBAP.
• Experience working with international or distributed teams.
