What you will do

• Work with columnists and develop subject-specific op-ed articles.
• Commission, edit, and shape persuasive coverage based on reporting and expertise.
• Develop ideas, establish thematic features, and create effective publishing strategies.
• Coordinate with the wider Opinion Department to maximize the impact of published articles.
• Prospect for new writers, elevate emerging talent, and manage engagement with established contributors.
• Participate in Editorial Board meetings, contribute unsigned editorials, and occasionally appear in podcasts and social video.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in journalism, media, or communications.
• Experience managing writers and editors.
• Experience developing editorial forms and publishing techniques.
• Experience with digital media and multimedia formats.
• Strong persuasive writing skills and the ability to make complex topics clear and accessible.
• Collaborative approach and ability to build strong partnerships across teams.
