Manufacturing Technician I (Days)

Location: Decatur, Texas, United States; on-site manufacturing role

What you will do

• Operate manufacturing equipment including feeder hoppers, packer heads, air mills, remills, presses, and forklifts.
• Process raw materials, green forming billets, and carbon billets for graphite and silicon carbide production.
• Perform quality checks and maintain accurate production, output, and inspection records.
• Identify minor equipment malfunctions, participate in routine and preventive maintenance, and help minimize downtime.
• Handle, store, and transport raw materials and finished products while following product-integrity requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers and production supervisors to troubleshoot issues, improve processes, reduce waste, and increase productivity.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical or technical manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Ability to follow safety protocols, standard operating procedures, and manufacturing guidelines while using required PPE.
• Flexibility to work shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
• Ability to comply with federally mandated U.S. export control requirements.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, perform repetitive physical tasks, and work in confined spaces or varying environmental conditions; a pre-employment physical is required.

Nice to have

• Experience working in an ISO 9000/14000 environment.
