VP, Sr Benefits Consultant

What you will do

• Manage a book of employee benefits business, including retention and growth.
• Develop and execute client benefit strategies and advise clients on compliance.
• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial reports, utilization metrics, benchmarks, and large-claim details.
• Create financial and underwriting exhibits, including projections, stop-loss analysis, demographic analysis, and IBNR analysis.
• Lead client meetings, presentations, onboarding, market meetings, seminars, and training programs.
• Provide guidance and training to Consultants, Account Managers, and Analysts.

Requirements

• 9+ years of employee benefits experience and 4+ years of financial experience.
• A four-year degree or equivalent work experience.
• Active Life/Accident and Health Insurance Agent License must be obtained and maintained.
• Strong to expert Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, communication, organizational, and independent-working skills.
• Routine or periodic travel may be required; driving eligibility, an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record, and minimum insurance coverage may be necessary.
