Fraud Investigator II (Backoffice)

Location: Mexico City. Currently fully remote, with a planned transition to a hybrid setup at a Mexico City hub.

Salary: 25,000 MXN gross per month.

What you will do

• Investigate complex fraud cases end-to-end, including offline fraud, suspected rings, and coordinated schemes.
• Analyze transaction and behavioral data to identify fraud patterns and recommend mitigation actions.
• Prepare investigation reports with findings, evidence, and recommended actions.
• Collaborate with Operations and Strategy on cases requiring deeper investigation.
• Document investigation methodologies and support process, tooling, and fraud prevention initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any business major.
• Fluent English in both oral and written communication.
• Experience in fraud investigations and transaction monitoring.
• Experience with G Suite products.
• Availability to work every weekend, with two weekdays off; rotating shifts may apply.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and varying schedules.
