Clinical Project Manager

Location: Remote within Costa Rica

What you will do

• Lead clinical study start-up activities, including reviewing requirements and developing plans and documentation.
• Define and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, staffing needs, constraints, and reporting schedules.
• Coordinate communication among sponsors, investigative sites, internal teams, leadership, and external partners.
• Manage project finances, including billing, forecasting, scope reviews, contract amendments, and pass-through costs.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, GCP, protocol requirements, and quality processes, including deviation documentation.
• Train and lead project teams and oversee site data collection, business development support, and project close-out activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; life sciences, pharmacy, nursing, or a related healthcare degree is preferred.
• Previous project management or leadership experience in the clinical development of investigational medications.
• 1–3 years of clinical trials experience in a CRO or pharmaceutical research organization, preferably in project management.
• Working knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, and FDA regulations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Project.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, leadership, communication, and multitasking skills for a regulated environment.
