Senior DevOps Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Arlington, Virginia; daily onsite work at the TST Office is required

Salary: $153,000–$255,351 USD annually

What you will do

• Maintain and enhance CI/CD systems supporting development and testing pipelines.
• Automate development, testing, and deployment processes.
• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure and test environments.
• Create dashboards showing infrastructure availability, configuration, and usage.
• Collaborate with development, cybersecurity, and systems teams to integrate solutions.
• Identify process improvements that reduce manual effort and improve workflows.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance and polygraph are required.
• 3–5 years of DevOps or infrastructure automation experience, or equivalent education, certifications, and related experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, Linux, and command-line tools.
• Knowledge of virtualization platforms such as VMware, Proxmox, or Hyper-V.
• Experience with network engineering, including switch and router configuration.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across hardware and software.

Nice to have

• Experience with OpenStack and advanced AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with logging, monitoring, and observability tools such as ELK Stack, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• CompTIA Security+ or a similar DoD 8570 certification.
• Experience developing software as part of a team.
