QC Inspector (Nuclear)

What you will do

• Inspect, measure, audit, and functionally test products, materials, parts, subassemblies, and packaging for damage, defects, shortages, and specification compliance.
• Perform incoming, in-process, and pre-shipment inspections.
• Verify documentation, certifications, engineering requirements, purchase order requirements, and customer specifications.
• Conduct product and process audits on machined products, weldments, assemblies, and manufactured components.
• Use specification sheets, gauges, standards, and inspection equipment to assess dimensional and visual conformity.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of hands-on machine shop inspection experience.
• Knowledge of quality systems, ISO, gauge calibration, metrology, and GD&T.
• Ability to use surface plates, height gauges, comparators, hand tools, attribute gauges, and related inspection equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings and review technical documentation.
• Experience with liquid penetrant examination and Keyence measuring equipment.
