Associate Program Financial Analyst

Location: Hybrid/on-site in Arlington, Virginia, with at least 3 days in the office

Salary: $80,000–$105,000 per year

What you will do

• Work with Program Managers to develop reports and analyze performance metrics and program documents against contractual, cost, and schedule objectives.
• Compile and analyze contracts covering projected staff hours, estimates at completion, contract totals, revenue, and profit.
• Support financial tracking, monitoring, forecasting, and reporting of contract performance.
• Perform Earned Value Management analysis across multiple projects and help develop baseline budgets and monthly status reports.
• Support proposal pricing and provide financial information for contract negotiations.
• Maintain project records and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent full-time professional experience.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience in a financial or analytical role.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
• Ability to work from the Arlington, Virginia office at least 3 days per week.
• Ability to travel up to 10% as needed.

Nice to have

• Experience developing and maintaining cost models in Excel.
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint Planning or a comparable project management system.
• Experience with Earned Value Management systems, including COBRA.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and GAAP.
• Ability to represent the finance function in cross-functional teams, communicate effectively, and meet deadlines.
