Quality Assurance Engineer, Associate (Nuclear)

Location: Newmarket, Canada

Salary: $67,900–$80,000 per year

What you will do

• Ensure compliance with the quality management system, customer purchase orders, specifications, and applicable industry standards.
• Prepare product quality assurance documentation and review and approve Quality Verification Documents.
• Review nonconformances and develop and implement corrective actions.
• Perform vendor source inspections and inspections of safety-related components and systems.
• Participate in customer and vendor audits and support project schedules and customer deliverables.
• Create and follow work instructions while collaborating with customers, suppliers, operations, and sales.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Two to four years of related experience.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Good organization, time management, multitasking, and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
• Familiarity with nuclear quality standards, including CSA N299, CSA N285, or ASME NQA-1.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with ASME Section III requirements for the construction of nuclear facility components.
