Associate Investment Advisor - Bilingual (Investments)

Location: Montréal, Quebec, Canada. The work arrangement, including the proportion of on-site and remote work, will be discussed during the interview. Legal eligibility to work at the specified location is required, with a valid work or study permit where applicable.

What you will do

• Build and grow Wood Gundy client investment portfolios through relationship management and investment advice.
• Deploy client assets into suitable financial products based on risk and reward tolerances and demographic profiles.
• Identify, attract, and convert prospects through marketing and business development activities.
• Proactively service clients and address investment-related questions.
• Develop investment plans and written proposals by analyzing information and trends.
• Participate in client and prospect seminars and present factual and conceptual investment information.

Requirements

• University degree in a related field, an industry-related designation, and/or relevant experience.
• Current accreditation and good standing as an Investment Representative with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization Investment Dealer.
• Financial services and/or brokerage industry experience, with working knowledge of quotation equipment.
• Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, analytical, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in French and English is required.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada is required.
