Strategic Mechanical Manager

Location: Onsite at the hirify.global manufacturing factory in Cienega de Flores, Mexico

What you will do

• Ensure efficient and reliable operation of mechanical utility systems, including HVAC, compressed air, water treatment, and natural gas.
• Define and improve processes, standards, and procedures for mechanical infrastructure.
• Verify that new projects and system modifications comply with technical standards and local laws.
• Participate in design reviews, project engineering, and commissioning activities.
• Improve system performance through KPI monitoring and energy-saving initiatives.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with stakeholders and service providers while optimizing resource use and reducing environmental impact.

Requirements

• Strong experience with machinery and utility infrastructure in industrial facilities.
• Solid understanding of mechanical engineering standards and regulations.
• Experience in project engineering, design review, and commissioning.
• Experience developing processes and strategies for machinery and mechanical operations.
• Ability to supervise and improve system performance using KPIs.
• Good verbal and written English and Spanish communication skills are required.
