Staff Product Manager (Google Built-In)

Location: Hybrid; Mountain View, California or Warren, Michigan. Office attendance is required at least three times per week.

Salary: $134,700–$245,000 per year, plus bonus potential.

What you will do

• Own the product vision, strategy, objectives, and roadmap for GM’s Google Built-In product area.
• Partner with Google to align product strategies, roadmaps, requirements, and priorities with GM customer needs.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across product, engineering, design, quality, marketing, sales, communications, and business teams.
• Define KPIs using customer, quality, engagement, and reliability data, and drive continuous product optimization.
• Manage product launches and go-to-market strategies across vehicle programs, platforms, markets, and customer segments.
• Mentor product managers and establish scalable product practices, frameworks, and quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 7+ years of cross-functional experience with customer-facing digital products as a product manager, product designer, or product engineer.
• Automotive digital product or design experience.
• Experience with product discovery and delivery, product launches, go-to-market strategies, and external technology partners.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams through data, customer evidence, logic, and clear communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with Google Automotive Services or Android Automotive Operating System.
• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with in-vehicle infotainment, connected services, mobile companion, voice assistant, maps, app ecosystem, or platform products.
• Experience influencing strategic technology partners and executive-level product decisions.
