Sr. Specialist, Feature Owner (Automotive)

Location: Fremont, California; Charlotte, North Carolina; or Novi, Michigan, United States. This onsite role requires 4–5 days per week in the office, regular in-person meetings, and domestic and international travel.

Annual base salary: $130,000–$160,000. California base salary range: $143,000–$176,000. Eligible for an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Create end-to-end product solutions, covering technical and commercial aspects.
• Identify customer needs and translate them into product requirements and features.
• Develop and maintain product roadmaps aligned with internal programs and supplier milestones.
• Track project tasks, workflows, priorities, and timing through JIRA or similar tools.
• Collaborate with styling and concept teams on engineering and in-vehicle user experience solutions.
• Support solutions through development, testing, release, maintenance, and end-user requirement reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, computer science, technology, or engineering technology.
• At least 5 years of relevant automotive software engineering experience, especially in digital cockpit systems.
• 8–12 or more years of product or project management experience.
• Knowledge of automotive platforms, variants, module selection and modification, and regulatory and safety requirements.
• Exposure to Android Automotive, vehicle electronics, AUTOSAR, telematics, ADAS/AD, analytics, cloud/backend, and validation and verification.
• Valid driver’s license, passport, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with automotive infotainment audio and antenna product development.
