Lead Project Manager (Clinical Research)

Location: Remote in Pennsylvania, United States; travel of up to approximately 20% may be required.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop Project Management staff, including performance and competency development.
• Manage the planning, setup, monitoring, and closeout of clinical programs and studies.
• Coordinate teams, resources, training, study materials, equipment, documentation, reports, and project updates.
• Monitor timelines, budgets, revenue forecasts, scope changes, invoicing, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Manage client relationships, stakeholder communication, issue resolution, and contractual commitments.
• Support operational readiness, departmental initiatives, training, client presentations, and business development activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and project management experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, clinical research, or a related healthcare industry.
• 5–10 years of experience managing projects, programs, or studies in a regulated environment.
• Experience leading and developing team members and fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Strong knowledge of drug development processes and clinical research operations.
• Experience with project budgets, revenue forecasting, scope management, financial controls, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, a valid passport, and the ability to travel up to approximately 20% are required.
