System Engineer (MBSE)

Location: Hybrid, St Louis, MO, United States. Secret clearance is required before starting.

What you will do

• Plan, design, develop, integrate, and verify complex systems and system-of-systems solutions throughout the lifecycle.
• Analyze customer and operational requirements, define system performance, and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs, and interface specifications.
• Manage requirements, risks, issues, technology readiness assessments, verification methods, validation plans, and related systems engineering processes.
• Use Model-Based Systems Engineering tools such as Cameo, mathematical modeling, and simulation to develop system definitions and perform trade studies.
• Conduct analyses covering affordability, reliability, maintainability, safety, cybersecurity, certification, survivability, vulnerability, and mission assurance.
• Test and validate system designs to ensure they meet operational and functional requirements.

Requirements

• Secret clearance must be held before starting.
• Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate degree from an accredited program in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or another technical field.
• Experience with software configuration management tools such as Team Foundation Server or Azure DevOps.
• Experience writing and analyzing test procedures and software requirements.
• Experience with OFP (Operational Flight Program) SIL (System Integration Lab) testing.
