Mainframe DB2 DBA (z/OS)

Location: All cities in the USA

Salary: $100,080–$190,080 annual base compensation; location-specific ranges may apply. Eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Configure, install, maintain, and optimize DB2 database management systems on z/OS.
• Manage DB2 security, including RACF, grants, revokes, roles, and privileges.
• Perform capacity planning, performance management, monitoring, and database maintenance.
• Develop backup and recovery plans and execute DB2 utilities such as Reorg, Runstats, Copy, Load, Unload, Modify, Check, Recover, and Rebuild.
• Execute DB2 commands, resolve incidents and problems, document solutions, and implement database changes.
• Support end users and application developers and provide rotational 24 x 7 on-call production support.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience with DB2 V12 and V13 on z/OS.
• At least 3 years of experience with z/OS, JCL, TSO/ISPF, DB2 utilities, DDL, performance and capacity management, backup and recovery, monitoring, and database administration.
• Knowledge of SQL, DB2 performance tuning, database design, and logical-to-physical database modeling.
• Experience with change, incident, problem, availability, service-level, and capacity management processes.
• Fluent English required.
• Availability for rotational 24 x 7 on-call support is required.
