Global Bid Manager

What you will do

• Lead large, complex local, regional, pan-African, and global bid opportunities.
• Qualify opportunities, make bid/no-bid recommendations, and develop competitive bid strategies.
• Manage the full bid lifecycle from opportunity qualification through contract award.
• Coordinate Sales, Solutions, Finance, Legal, Commercial, Product, Technology, Procurement, delivery teams, hirify.global affiliates, and technology partners.
• Develop customer-focused proposals, executive summaries, solution narratives, and presentations for RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and tenders.
• Drive governance, compliance, risk management, executive approvals, documentation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Marketing, Telecommunications, Engineering, or Information Technology.
• 8–12 years of experience in ICT, telecommunications, managed services, or the technology industry.
• 5–8 years of bid management experience.
• Experience with RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, public-sector tenders, and enterprise opportunities.
• Multi-country bid management experience and experience with large public-sector or enterprise customers.
• Strong capabilities in bid and proposal management, governance, risk assessment, procurement frameworks, project management, negotiation, and stakeholder management.

Nice to have

• APMP, PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile Project Management certification.
• Exposure to the hirify.global/Vodacom operating model.
