Senior Information Risk Officer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Fully onsite in Spokane, Washington at 111 N Wall St Building, Spokane, WA 99201.

Salary: $85,000–$120,000 per year, with potential performance-based incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Lead information governance, risk, and compliance activities, including risk management, monitoring, and validation.
• Maintain governance, security policy, process, and procedure documentation.
• Perform formal risk assessments and self-assessments for key processes, technologies, systems, and vendors.
• Analyze technology and security controls for compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
• Track risk-program gaps, maintain gap analyses, and identify opportunities to improve banking practices.
• Advise technology teams and business units while coordinating with audit, compliance, legal, enterprise risk, and operational groups.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience in information security, IT audit, information technology operations, or a combination of these areas.
• Knowledge of information security risk management and frameworks including ISO 27002, NIST 800 series, FFIEC IT booklets, or the Cybersecurity Assessment Tool.
• Understanding of systems and network concepts, including access, authorization, configuration, and design.
• Knowledge of encryption, access controls, network security, security operations, security architecture, threat modeling, and security design.
• Knowledge of PCI DSS, GLBA, HIPAA, and applicable banking regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act and Regulations P, CC, and E.
• Ability to work cross-functionally, build stakeholder relationships, and adapt to changing priorities.

Nice to have

• High school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification.
• CISA, CRISC, CISSP, CISM, or SANS GIAC certification.
