Senior Software Engineer (Identity Security)

What you will do

• Design the identity model for AI agents, including delegated actions and composite identities.
• Build a real-time authorization engine and select underlying policy technologies like Cedar or OPA.
• Define trust establishment for identities issued by platforms like Microsoft Entra and Salesforce.
• Develop authorization and continuous-evaluation capabilities based on live session signals.
• Own platform interfaces and contracts to ensure scalability and cleanliness.
• Act as a technical leader, setting direction and raising the bar on identity and authorization standards.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in the U.S.
• Typically 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in identity, authorization, or distributed systems security.
• Hands-on experience building authorization or policy systems (e.g., Cedar, OPA, OpenFGA).
• Working knowledge of identity and token standards (OAuth, OpenID Connect, SPIFFE/SPIRE).
• Track record of designing scalable systems and interfaces.

Nice to have

• Experience securing AI or agentic systems.
• Contributions to identity, authorization, or security standards/open source.
• Background in privileged access, secrets management, or identity governance.
