Prosper Cooking Connection - Culinary Selling Expert - Full Time

hirify.global operates the retail store and Cooking Connection kitchen where customers engage with food demonstrations, recipes, and product experiences.

What you will do

• Develop recipes targeted to the local customer base and demonstrate cooking methods, preparation techniques, and meal-planning ideas.
• Engage customers through culinary conversations, product recommendations, ingredient substitutions, and alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage pairings.
• Support cooking classes, wine education, dinner series, store events, sampling, and floor demonstrations.
• Build and maintain merchandising displays, signage, product stories, inventory, and kitchen presentation standards.
• Prepare demonstration and sampling products using mise-en-place methods and maintain food safety, sanitation, and equipment standards.

Requirements

• Must be 21 or older.
• At least two years of experience related to food and cooking, professional cooking, sales, or product demonstrations.
• Degree in culinary arts, nutrition, or home economics, or hirify.global Culinary certification with intermediate culinary skills.
• Advanced communication, customer service, hospitality, merchandising, and intermediate cooking skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, manage multiple priorities, interpret operational documents, and lift 60 pounds or more.
• hirify.global Wine selling certification or similar experience; ability to complete TABC Certification.
