Registrar – Communications Security Officer (COMSEC)

Location: Karlskrona or Lund, Sweden; primarily onsite due to classified information and physical security processes.

What you will do

• Manage the Security Registry for hirify.global Naval, including registering, distributing, archiving, and inventorying classified defence documents.
• Support encryption tasks, cryptographic key management, IT-certificate administration, and task management administration.
• Act as the designated Communications Security Officer for the organization.
• Support the governance, administration, and compliance of COMSEC processes and cryptographic assets.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and provide backup support to Security Registries across the Business Area.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of hirify.global Naval’s COMSEC capabilities.

Requirements

• Structured, detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to high-quality administrative work.
• Strong integrity, ethics, documentation skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently, handle complex and routine assignments, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Must pass security vetting under applicable Swedish security protection regulations; additional citizenship obligations may apply for security-cleared positions.

Nice to have

• Education as a registrar or archivist, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with the Swedish Security Protection Act or similar security-related fields.
• Experience in COMSEC, cryptographic key management, encryption systems, and related regulatory requirements.
• COMSEC training or equivalent signals security education.
• Knowledge of national and international security protection matters.
