Resident Solutions Architect (dbt)

Location: Remote within the United States; the role is associated with Philadelphia, and approximately 10% travel is expected for customer visits, retreats, and offsites.

Salary: $179,982–$224,978 USD annually.

What you will do

• Deliver customer technical projects involving dbt Platform implementation, configuration troubleshooting, best practices, MVPs, and long-term solutions.
• Advise enterprise customers on architecture and solution design.
• Drive product adoption among strategic dbt Platform customers.
• Collaborate with Sales, Solutions Architecture, Training, and Support teams.
• Provide customer feedback to product and engineering teams to prioritize requests and resolve engagement-specific issues.
• Develop deep product expertise in dbt and the modern data stack.

Requirements

• Must be physically located in the United States.
• Deep experience working with enterprise customers in a customer-facing post-sales, technical architecture, or consulting role.
• Deep expertise in at least one data platform: Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• At least 2 years of dbt experience, ideally including 1 year with dbt Platform.
• Proficiency in SQL and some experience with Python.
• Ability to manage scope, timelines, deliverables, and multiple customer engagements while communicating complex technical and architectural issues clearly.

Nice to have

• dbt Analytics Engineering Certification.
• Experience advising on dbt Platform recommendations and building customer consensus.
• Experience with Informatica, Datastage, or Talend.
