Senior Software Developer (Python)

Location: Barcelona, Spain. Hybrid work with up to 2 days per week from home; up to 30 days per year may be worked from any location in the world.

What you will do

• Support the Data Intelligence Team in a small Agile engineering team.
• Build business-critical software and submit robust merge requests using high-quality engineering practices.
• Implement APIs with FastAPI and distributed tasks with Ray.
• Collect and store data efficiently using SQLAlchemy and Polars dataframes.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and documentation.
• Scale a microservices-based architecture in Kubernetes and collaborate with other teams using the software.

Requirements

• Professional experience with Python.
• Experience with web frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or similar.
• Experience with SQL or ORM technologies such as SQLAlchemy, TortoiseORM, or similar.
• Experience with distributed computing frameworks such as Ray, PySpark, Dask, or similar.
• Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes.

Nice to have

• Interest in AI, machine learning, and data science.
• Experience with dataframe libraries such as Pandas or Polars.
• Interest in aeronautical engineering.
