Senior Software Developer (Python)

Location: Larnaca, Cyprus; hybrid work model with 2 days working from home.

What you will do

• Design, architect, develop, and maintain complex Python-based software solutions.
• Write clean, reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and release new features.
• Review code and mentor junior developers.
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability, and perform debugging, troubleshooting, and unit testing.
• Prepare functional and technical software specifications and follow relevant technology trends.

Requirements

• BSc or BA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience as a Software Developer.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, database design, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
• Strong knowledge of Python, Java, or .NET, plus HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery.
• Experience with FastAPI, Tornado, or Flask, as well as unit testing and CI/CD environments.
• ORM experience with SQLAlchemy, Entity Framework, or Hibernate is advantageous.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQLAlchemy, Entity Framework, or Hibernate.
• Exposure to distributed databases, message queues, containerization, and observability tools.
