Portfolio Manager - Specialty Finance

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States

Salary: $135,000–$155,000 per year, based on experience, qualifications, and location. The role may also include incentive compensation and a discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Manage a diverse portfolio of specialty finance clients and monitor performance.
• Build direct client relationships and deliver tailored financial solutions.
• Partner with Relationship Managers to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Diligence Team, Credit Risk Management, and senior management to meet client needs and manage risk.
• Attend conferences and client meetings to represent CIBC and stay current with market trends.

• Experience in portfolio management, specialty finance, or a related field.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and work with diverse teams.
• Strong client focus and ability to build trust and deliver value.
• Proactive approach to business growth and industry trends.
• Legal eligibility to work in the specified United States location is required.
