What you will do

• Support failure analysis investigations addressing yield, reliability, and semiconductor manufacturing challenges.
• Use analytical techniques including Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry (SIMS).
• Analyze characterization data, interpret results, and communicate findings to engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to develop investigation strategies and improve process understanding.
• Build expertise in semiconductor materials analysis, failure mechanisms, and advanced laboratory equipment through training and mentorship.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Semiconductor Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 and good academic standing.
• English fluency required in written and verbal communication.
• Availability to travel up to 10%.
• Graduation as a new college graduate in 2027.

Nice to have

• Internship, co-op, undergraduate research, or laboratory experience related to semiconductor processing, materials characterization, or failure analysis.
• Experience with SIMS, SEM, EDX, optical microscopy, spectroscopy, or related analytical methods.
• Interest in using AI tools and emerging technologies to improve productivity and decision-making.
• Leadership experience through coursework, student organizations, research projects, competitions, or other activities.
• Experience in a laboratory, cleanroom, semiconductor, or manufacturing environment, along with strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
