Investment Manager - Product Research Associate III - PNC Wealth Management (Investment Research): Conducting manager research, due diligence, portfolio analytics, and advisory model management across investment vehicles with an accent on performance, risk, asset allocation, and governance. Focus on evaluating investment strategies, building decision-ready reporting, recommending portfolio adjustments, and presenting findings to investment committees and advisors.

Location: In-office in Pittsburgh, PA or Cleveland, OH; may also be based in a hirify.global Hub location

What you will do

  • Research, conduct due diligence on, and monitor mutual funds, ETFs, SMAs, and third-party multi-asset solutions for the approved investment list.
  • Source investment strategies, interview managers, document findings, develop recommendations, and present conclusions to the investment committee.
  • Manage wrap program model overlays, including capital market assumptions, fund selection, performance and risk monitoring, attribution, and strategic asset allocation.
  • Recommend tactical portfolio adjustments, coordinate model implementation and trading, and help design portfolios for different client objectives and risk profiles.
  • Prepare investment perspectives, market commentary, research notes, presentations, and committee materials for advisors and clients.
  • Build performance, risk, and exposure reporting while coordinating with risk, legal, compliance, supervision, marketing, sales, operations, and investment committees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education, certification, and experience.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in investment research, manager due diligence, portfolio analytics, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of financial services regulation, investment analysis, risk management, and portfolio construction.
  • FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses are required; additional departmental licenses may include Series 66, Series 53, or Life & Health Insurance.
  • Proficiency with investment databases and analytics platforms such as Morningstar Direct, plus Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Employment visas and STEM OPT sponsorship are not provided.

Nice to have

  • CFA charterholder or CFA candidate.
  • CFP certification.
